Ms. King’s Background

Beth King has lived in Volusia County since 1969 and has represented family law clients in Volusia, Flagler and Brevard Count for the past ten years. Mrs. King handles paternity cases, child custody disputes, traditional divorces, post judgment litigation, appeals and collaborative divorce. A member of the Florida Bar since 2004 and a Member of the West Virginia Bar since 2007 Mrs. King began her career at the Office of the Attorney General, later serving as a Staff Attorney for the Judges of the Seventh Judicial Circuit.

In 2006, she joined , Smith, Schoder & Bledsoe, where she practiced medical, government agency and workers’ compensation defense. In 2013, she joined the Rice Law Firm where she began her focus on family law. She joined the Collaborative Divorce Center in January 2023.

Ms. King lives in Ormond Beach with her husband of 38 years. The two have five children and six grandchildren. She is a competitive ballroom dancer, an avid yoga practitioner with an interest in literature and theater dating back to her days at Florida State University and Rollins College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater and a Masters in Liberal Studies.
